Well, you can guarantee one thing: This was a vacation these folks will absolutely never, ever forget:
An emotional Australian couple has recalled how they were forced to sit beside a dead woman for hours after she passed away on their long-haul flight.
Mitchell Ring and Jennifer Colin were on a Qatar Airways flight from Melbourne to Venice when the woman suddenly collapsed in the aisle after going to the toilet.
She was unable to be revived despite the cabin crew's efforts.
Folks, the one universal truth you realize when someone dies mid-flight at 36,000 feet is:

Now, if I were in charge of that flight, I guess I would've, you know, maybe stowed the lady in the cargo hold or something. I feel like there's a way you can do that respectfully so that your other passengers don't have to, well, you know, sit next to a dead person.
But apparently that just wasn't possible on this flight:
'They went to try and move her, they brought this chair down... and they put her in the chair and tried to wheel her up towards business class.
'But she was quite a large lady, and they couldn't get her through the aisle.'
And so they had to put the woman's body in a seat, directly next to the Ring family:
In one small stroke of luck, "a woman with a spare seat in another row invited Ms Colin to sit with her after they claim the cabin crew failed to offer to relocate them further away from the body."
And yet the couple were still forced to sit next to the poor woman's body even after the flight was over:
Mr Ring said the crews began taking the blankets off the body and inspecting it while he and his wife were sitting there, meaning he saw the woman's face.
'I can't believe they told us to stay... it wasn't nice,' he said.
"Wasn't nice" is an understatement. Pretty sure I'd lose my mind on a flight like that!
