Bishop Robert Hirschfeld of the Episcopal Church of New Hampshire jumped over the edge of sanity when it comes to ICE and immigration enforcement.
Hirschfeld is pretty sure ICE intends to kill him (and all the other Episcopal pastors out there) and called for them to get their houses in order.
At a vigil for the activist Renee Good who was killed while trying to run down an ICE agent with her car, Hirschfeld talked about Jonathan Daniels, who was killed 60 years ago by a sheriff's deputy in Alabama during the civil rights movement.
‘I have told the clergy of the Episcopal diocese of New Hampshire that we may be entering into that same witness,' Hirschfeld said. ‘And I've asked them to get their affairs in order, to make sure they have their wills written, because it may be that now is no longer the time for statements, but for us with our bodies, to stand between the powers of this world and the most vulnerable.'
By "most vulnerable," he must mean the drug cartel members and pedophile rapists that ICE is targeting.
Most of the comments online were dumb and depended on which side of the immigration issue people stand on.
(The irony being that neither side seems to have any idea what being a Christian means.)
