Life comes at you fast:

This shouldn't surprise anyone who watched Colbert's descent into far-left propaganda disguised as the lamest comedy of all time.

From the New York Post:

In the end, Paramount's co-CEO George Cheeks decided to kill the show, sources said.

'Colbert gets no advertising and late night is a tough spot,' said a person with direct knowledge of CBS's decision.

'Colbert might be No. 1, but who watches late night TV anymore?'

You mean advertisers didn't want to be associated with this? 👇

'Colbert loses $40 million to $50 million a year, so George Cheeks just decided to pull the plug.'

I say this as someone who used to love his pretend conservative persona on The Colbert Report: The guy has turned into Caesar Flickerman from The Hunger Games.

Colbert barely has 200,000 regular viewers per episode on a free show produced by a major network. All of late-night TV is in a similar boat.

That's nothing in a world where kids building Legos get millions of views on YouTube.

Two questions:

  1. Why didn't CBS cancel this show earlier, considering the amount of money being lost annually?

  2. Why did CBS cancel the show in a surprise announcement that came almost immediately after Congress slashed funding for public media this week?

Here's DataRepublican:

It's illegal for CBS to use taxpayer funding in most cases, but they were impacted by the cuts nonetheless, which makes the timing ... interesting, to say the least.

To show you how partisan Colbert is, here's Colbert with Obama FBI Director James Comey, who is now under investigation by the DOJ and FBI for manufacturing a hoax (according to the current Director of National Security and declassified FBI/DHS documents) about Russian election interference in 2016, among other things:

And here's Colbert hosting Obama CIA Director John Brennan, who is likewise under investigation in the scheme, which the Director of National Intelligence called "treasonous conspiracy" to undermine the will of the American people.

A quick query on LLM's (in this case, Grok), shows all of late night has a wild bias toward left-wing guests. 👇

Still, was any of this far-left propaganda machine propped up by taxpayer money?
