This happened out in Grand Forks, North Dakota, on Tuesday and while it looks pretty ugly, just know the guy ended up walking (or swimming, rather) away mostly unharmed.
You gotta see this:

"OH NO ... OH JEEZ!!"
The two guys who were there recording the video immediately called 911 and headed down to the boat launch to check on the guy who had fallen into the Red River, which apparently has a gnarly undercurrent. Fortunately, they saw his head pop up after a little too long of a pause and realized he was fine.
Emergency crews were quick to arrive, and they helped the man untangle his leg from the parachute line, pulling him to shore afterwards.
Those power lines are very camouflaged up there, so I wouldn't be surprised if Grand Forks goes ahead and marks those so accidents like this don't happen in the future.
