In a move that obviously makes too much sense to have already been made, President Trump issued an order directing multiple federal agencies to take steps to keep illegal aliens from receiving Social Security checks.
While common sense would dictate that people who are not legal citizens of the United States should not draw from what is essentially the United States' collective retirement fund, the clown world in which we live necessitated executive action.

The memorandum was directed at the Social Security Administration inspector general, the Social Security commissioner, the attorney general, and the secretaries of labor, health and human services, and homeland security.
Why was this necessary, you may ask? Because apparently thousands of illegal aliens were receiving federal benefits, of course.
This latest executive action was made shortly after the White House announced that more than 6,300 illegal immigrants had been stripped of Social Security and other federal benefits. Those individuals had been paroled into the United States by the Biden administration during or after 2023 and were flagged as a national security risk, holding a criminal record, or listed in the FBI's terrorist screening database. Their parole, which shielded them from deportation, ended on April 8.
Wow. Thanks once again, Joe Biden.
That's at least 6,300 non-citizens who will no longer be subsidized by our tax dollars.
Now to figure out how to do the same for the however-many-more million.
