According to Reuters, the Tunisian migrant is still in the hospital with "life-threatening injuries" (AKA bullet holes).
His four victims are being treated at local hospitals.
French outlet Le Figaro reports the man was Tunisian and became hostile with the staff of his hotel where he had stopped paying rent. One of his victims was the hotel manager.
The man was under "judicial supervision" and was banned from carrying weapons, but for some strange reason, criminals like to ignore the rules.
[Police] used an electric pulse gun (PIE) before neutralizing the man with bullets while he was reciting a surah from the Koran. According to a source, three victims are currently in absolute emergency, while a fourth is in relative emergency. All were injured with a long knife and were treated by emergency services.
