These kids know what's up.

I do wonder how much safer Atlanta would be if they treated all crime like it was a tiny misdemeanor against the gays.

I mean, look: By the way this is portrayed, you'd think it was a murder in Atlanta.

It's like these teens have made the America's Most Wanted list or something.

This was apparently a super gay part of town, so the kids knew the territory well, even though they're all from small towns out in the boonies.

The New York Times thinks the teens might get prison time:

Under a hate crime law in Georgia, passed in June 2020, crimes motivated by the victim's sexual orientation or gender identity can lead to enhanced penalties. A misdemeanor offense can carry an additional six to 12 months in prison and a fine of up to $5,000; felonies can result in two to 12 more years behind bars.

All four of those arrested could face additional charges under Georgia's hate crime law, pending the outcome of the investigation, the authorities said. The group coordinated the act and traveled into the city from northwest Atlanta, the authorities said.

Bro, if these kids get prison time for this...

Either way, they're American heroes!

And I gotta leave this comment from Matt Walsh before I go:
