Though much has been made about Joe Biden's cognitive decline during his time in office, the former president fired back at claims that he wasn't the person responsible for making all those horrible decisions and running the country into the ground.
As the facade of Biden's mental capabilities while serving in the highest elected office in the land continues to crumble, with President Donald Trump's administration calling for an official investigation into the potential cover-up, Biden issued a statement blasting the allegations.
From The Hill:
'Let me be clear: I made the decisions during my presidency. I made the decisions about the pardons, executive orders, legislation, and proclamations. Any suggestion that I didn't is ridiculous and false,' Biden said in a statement.
That's just the problem, Joe. You couldn't ever "be clear." Nothing was ever clear during your term except for the fact that you could barely speak or walk up a flight of stairs.
Biden went on to call the growing number of questions about who may have been running things in the Biden White House an attempt at misdirection.
'This is nothing more than a distraction by Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans who are working to push disastrous legislation that would cut essential programs like Medicaid and raise costs on American families, all to pay for tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy and big corporations,' Biden added, referencing a massive reconciliation package working its way through Congress.
Right. Because Democrats would NEVER resort to trying to distract from something like a sitting president appearing to be a dementia-riddled vegetable every time he appeared in public.
