Imagine you're at Loch Ness and off in the distance this object pops up out of the water:

Well ... okay then.

According to The Scotsman, "Tourists at Loch Ness were convinced they'd caught sight of an unusual beast in the water - only to find out it was part of a pizza delivery."

Tourists were probably even more shocked when the object leapt 5 meters out of the water, reflecting sunlight over its red, white, and blue hull.

The surprises weren't over. Next, it pulled up to the dock and a Domino's pizza delivery guy handed a pizza out to a patron on the beach.

By the way, that sub is "powered by a 300-horsepower high-performance engine" and can reach speeds of 45 miles per hour. It can also leap out of the water.

Domino's has previously used a Boston Dynamics robo-dog to protect a pizza delivery from seagulls:

They've used this pot hole-proof bike with a heated box:

Regarding the submarine, the company says,

Loch Ness is known for its legends, so it felt like the perfect place to test the waters of a world-first submarine delivery.

While we won't be training all drivers to become pilots of this unique mode of transport anytime soon, it shows our ongoing commitment to innovation and how far we'll go to deliver to our customers.

What's really scary is that this meme from a few years back seems to have predicted this moment.
