California may have just arrested the psychopath who started the wildfire in the Palisades that killed a dozen people and burned thousands of acres.

IT'S A FLORIDA MAN!

Check out the press conference where the announcement was made:

U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli said in his statement:

The complaint alleges that a single person's recklessness caused one of the worst fires Los Angeles has ever seen, resulting in death and widespread destruction in Pacific Palisades. While we cannot bring back what victims lost, we hope this criminal case brings some measure of justice to those affected by this horrific tragedy.

The suspect is 29-year-old Jonathan Rinderknecht. The AG shared his booking photo, along with some "evidence" in the case: Images the suspect apparently generated in ChatGPT.

It's believed the Palisades fire started with the "Lachman" fire, which was allegedly started maliciously by Rinderknecht and captured on security footage:

Apparently, Rinderknecht is from Florida and was working in the Los Angeles area as an Uber driver at the time of the fires. Investigators say he started the fire off to the side of the road after dropping off a customer.

Rinderknecht is set to appear in court at 1:30 p.m. EST in Orlando.

If Florida Man is responsible, it looks like climate change is off the hook!
