Here's Renee Good's former father-in-law Timmy Macklin on CNN refusing to place blame for last week's ICE shooting on anyone in particular, but also dropping some wisdom.
I don't have any enemies, I love everybody, and that's what the Bible tells us, love our neighbors as ourselves. But you know, I think there's some bad choices and the Word says the wrath of God will come upon the children of disobedience and, you know, I don't blame ICE, I don't blame Rebecca, I don't blame Renee, I just wish - you know - if you're walking in the Spirit of God I don't think she would have been there.
Talk about this for perspective!
He doesn't blame the officer, he sees the officer's perspective. He doesn't blame his former daughter-in-law or her "partner," he doesn't blame Trump or anyone.
He does, however, call it as he sees it. He sees God's sovereignty and Renee's unwillingness to yield to the Spirit of God.
That's his opinion, that she never would have been there if she were walking according to God's way.
But he still has love for Renee and Rebecca, even though he clearly doesn't approve of their life choices or political opinions.
What a perspective shift for this situation!
