Rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders made his highly anticipated NFL regular season debut on Sunday for the Cleveland Browns.

At the exact same time, thieves broke into his Medina County, Ohio, home and stole $200,000 in property.

Son of Hall-of-Famer "Prime Time" Deion Sanders, Shedeur went viral for showing off a luxurious "draft room" in his home and giving a "silent interview" to the media after another player was named the starting quarterback ahead of him. He finally got on the field in a regular season game on Sunday, but it seems the thieves knew that would be the perfect time to strike.

More from ESPN:

Three suspects entered Sanders' home at about 6:46 p.m. ET, according to a news release from the Medina County Sheriff's Office. Surveillance cameras in the home captured video footage of the suspects entering and exiting different portions of the home. The suspects were wearing masks and gloves and were seen exiting Sanders' home at around 6:58 p.m. ET with property belonging to Sanders.

Sanders entered the game after QB Dillon Gabriel left the field with a suspected concussion.

When it was his time to shine, Sanders only completed 4 of 16 passes for 47 yards, with no touchdowns, 1 interception, 2 sacks, and 1 fumble lost.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said after the game that Sanders will start next Sunday's game against the Raiders in Las Vegas if Gabriel cannot clear protocol.

Authorities are still investigating the crime.

No update, meanwhile on the heinous crime the Browns have been perpetrating against Cleveland football fans since 1999.
