It's one thing when inmates escape from your jail.
But when you accidentally let a guy walk free because his name is similar to another inmate, well, that's just...

Officials are now calling on the inmate to turn himself in, which I'm sure will work out for them.
Khalil Bryan was mistakenly released from the Orleans Parish Justice Center by the sheriff's office, an apologetic New Orleans Police Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick said at a Friday news conference.
...
Bryan was released after a clerical error caused officials to confuse him with another inmate with a similar last name.
The inmate was serving time for possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting an officer. The sheriff says he was also charged with home invasion, aggravated assault and domestic abuse.
And now he's gone.
This was a human error, and Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson says those who were working during Bryan's release will be questioned as part of an investigation.
Here's Sheriff Hutson:
What an embarrassment for the Orleans Parish which is still looking for one of the ten inmates who escaped their facility back in May.
Don't forget, Orleans Parish ended up arresting one of their maintenance workers after those prisoners escaped.
