The government should control social media because if they don't then people could use AI to make people believe fake things and that could create polarization?
I know it's difficult to hear, but it's time to limit the First Amendment in order to protect it -- and quickly before it's too late ... We need to control the platforms, all the social platforms.

I suppose only the government is allowed to make things up and have us believe them then?
As noted above, this is Israeli tech billionaire Shlomo Kramer, who co-founded the cybersecurity companies Checkpoint and Imperva and also co-founded Cato Networks, a security company for cloud-based platforms.
A friendly reminder before we go any further:
Kramer not only says that we need to limit the First Amendment in America, but "We need to stack-rank the authenticity of every person that expresses themselves online and take control over what they are saying based on data ranking." You know, so we can keep track of them in case they say anything bad or something. That would mean no more anonymous accounts.
Elon Musk has made similar comments in the past about identification on X, though he's never mentioned or even hinted at limiting the First Amendment.
For the record, this article is simply pointing out a thing a foreign tech billionaire said about limiting the First Amendment in America.
It's real news that should be satire.
