Probably a really good idea, up 1-0, four outs away from a game one victory, to walk Texas's Reese Atwood here.
However, Atwood had other plans.
She got the go-ahead RBI on an attempted walk!!!
"The first pitch I think she kind of left a little and I was like 'oh,'" Atwood said after the game. "And so then after that I was just like looking for something just a little bit."
And she sure did find what she was looking for!
The Longhorns ended up winning game one 2-1, which is just heartbreaking for Texas Tech pitcher NiJaree Canady, whose team now faces elimination in a 3-game series.
I gotta show you Reese after the game, cuz she was pumped and all smiles.
What a way to take game one!
