Yeah, I'm not going to lie. When she used the word "partner" to describe her husband, then used the ultimate woke-lib phrase "did the work" and started talking about "equity" in marriage ... I completely checked out.
Everything else she said may as well have come from the teacher in Charlie Brown.
Put aside the validity of her complaints regarding shared responsibilities in marriage for a moment and think about the video itself. She's a wife and mom, with a TikTok, who decided to rant about her husband in the guise of "it gets better," embarrassing him in front of millions, so that the "mom-fluencers" will give her a pat on the back for being such a long-suffering wife.
Now to the comments:
The dude is literally a lineman for the county. Glenn Campbell wrote a song about this guy. He provides for his family. But occasionally he forgets to unload the dishwasher, so...
Again, those are the "reasonable" types of thoughts you'll find in mommy groups.
On X, this was found by a different audience.
She's just too busy being an activist so she needs her hard working husband to add "mom" to his duties.
Again, very little sympathy for this woman.
