This could be huge, folks.
Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff went on Sean Hannity's show last night to share some details of a 5-hour meeting he had with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Most notably, he shared that Putin is ready for not just a ceasefire, but "permanent peace."
Witkoff seemed somewhat optimistic:
When pressed for details, however, he was quite vague, giving little detail of some of the terms besides some undefined "commercial opportunities."
This peace deal is about these so-called five territories. But there's so much more to it. I think we might be on the verge of something that would be very important for the world at large.
Like I said, pretty vague.
Meanwhile, the war atrocities and tragedies keep piling up, the latest being a missile attack on Palm Sunday that killed and wounded dozens of Ukrainians.
When asked about the Sunday attack, Trump said he was told the attack was a mistake and called for the war to end:
