Bro, is this real life?!?!
Tim Hazelo, a Republican, was overseeing the 2024 election on November 4 in Island County, Washington, and because he wasn't wearing a mask -- which was still a requirement four years after Covid hit the scene -- they had police escort him out of the building.
He's now been convicted of a felony for his "crimes."
As Brandi Kruse explains, Greg Banks, the elected prosecutor in Island County, Washington, charged Hazelo with a felony for "unauthorized access to a voting center," even though he'd only been hit with a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge for his masklessness.
Take a look at this guy:
You seeing where this is going? The dude hates the unmasked Covid-deniers, hates Trump supporters, and he personally prosecuted this case in order to bring leftist justice to this guy.
This IS Washington we're talking about here -- literally the only state to trend blue in '24.
From a local news outlet:
It took the jury about 2.5 hours to find Hazelo guilty of unauthorized access to a voting center, which is a felony, and criminal trespass, a gross misdemeanor. Hazelo had also been previously charged with disorderly conduct, but that charge was dismissed.
This all stems from an incident on November 4, 2024, at the Island County Elections office, where Hazelo tried to observe the ballot counting process without a mask.
It's crazy to me that in 2024 these people were so concerned about mask mandates that they kicked this guy out of a voting center for not wearing one. And then the fact that the anti-Trump elected prosecutor who hates people who don't wear masks upped the charges to a felony and put himself on the prosecution in this case...
That's just crazy!
But it's par for the course for liberals out in Washington, and it's a great reminder of how the Left tried to use Covid as an excuse to bring authoritarianism to our world.
