Minister 2: We believe in a god of the oppressed.
Congregation: We believe that black women are a source of the divine and midwives of liberation as demonstrated by Mary, Hagar, Harriet, Sojourner, Fannie, and countless others who make a way out of no way.
Minister 1: We believe in a brown Palestinian Jew, the black messiah Jesus who is a first century abolitionist.
Congregation: We believe in a god of liberation.
It goes on. And on and on. And on.
I don't know what religion this is, but it ain't Christianity.
