The Biden regime is entering full-blown chaos mode as the Wall Street Journal has put out an exposè into behind the scenes at the White House.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Joe Biden is "slipping."
"Shows signs of slipping" is probably the nicest thing you could honestly say about Biden. He's "slipping" behind the scenes, yet on the scenes he's shaking hands with ghosts, falling down stairs, and losing battles to the teleprompter.
If that's Biden at his best and most competent I don't want to know the worst!
The 81-year-old Biden is the oldest person to hold the presidency. His age and cognitive fitness have become major issues in his campaign for a second term, both in the minds of voters and in attacks on him by Republicans. The White House and top aides said he remains a sharp and vigorous leader.
Some who have worked with him, however, including Democrats and some who have known him back to his time as vice president, described a president who appears slower now, someone who has both good moments and bad ones.
What you've got to remember is that Joe Biden has been a screwup for decades. Remember what Obama said about Uncle Joe?
And now, outside of his rah-rah team at the top, Democrats are all freaked out because, at times, he's not always there. Mentally.
This article is based on interviews with more than 45 people over several months. The interviews were with Republicans and Democrats who either participated in meetings with Biden or were briefed on them contemporaneously, including administration officials and other Democrats who found no fault in the president's handling of the meetings. Most of those who said Biden performed poorly were Republicans, but some Democrats said that he showed his age in several of the exchanges.
That any Democrats were willing to throw Biden under the bus, even anonymously, is a huge deal. And that the Wall Street Journal is reporting on Biden's cognitive decline behind the scenes says a lot.

He almost NEVER goes in front of the press. And even when he does, it's all scripted.
Several officials who have met with Biden say that he is constantly mumbling and is so soft-spoken that he is nearly impossible to understand. They have no clue as to whether or not he's tracking with the conversation.
In 2011, when Biden was vice president, he played a central role in negotiations with Republicans over increasing the debt ceiling, striking a deal when the country was on the precipice of a default. According to some Republicans involved in similar negotiations with him in May 2023, his level of engagement was uneven.
'He would ramble,' said McCarthy, who led the Republican side of the talks. 'He always had cards. He couldn't negotiate another way.'
This is Kevin McCarthy speaking. Not exactly the most rock-ribbed Republican.
Clearly, those who see Biden up close KNOW that he is unfit for office.
But ... whatever. We're stuck with this now.
