If you didn't hear, Elmo's account got hacked:
Sitting senators were shaken!
In a statement to Fox News, the production company for Sesame Street said:
Elmo's X account was compromised today by an unknown hacker who posted disgusting messages, including antisemitic and racist posts. We are working to restore full control of the account.
They did manage to regain control of the account rather quickly and deleted the string of posts and replies.
But the damage had been done.
Untold millions had watched the lovable little muppet go full Hitler.
And when the internet is traumatized, it makes memes 😂
I guess The Daily Show tried to warn us!
