You've got to hand it to the Canadians — they sure know how to pick the very best, brightest, and most qualified.

An out-of-shape, Muslim Arab woman who previously worked in a climate-change job will now tell Canadians how to be healthy!

Because if there's anyone you want casting vision for the physical well-being of an entire nation, it's definitely this woman.

Here are some highlights from her bio on the Canadian government's website:

Before joining the Health Portfolio, from 2018 to 2020, Ms. Hamzawi served as ADM of Environment and Climate Change Canada's Science and Technology Branch, working to ensure the department is a national and world leader in advancing, connecting and applying scientific understanding of the environment to anticipate and address the most pressing environmental issues, most notably climate change, plastic pollution, and biodiversity conservation.

Ah, Assistant Deputy Minister of … climate change, something or other. Impressive.

The best part? She has no medical degree to speak of.

Ms. Hamzawi holds a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering and Bachelor's Degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa.

After all, when your country is in need of a person to spearhead public health, you want someone with a background in … chemical engineering?

Congratulations, America's Hat, you've done it again.
