In Minnesota, you can be suspended from school for voicing a political opinion that most Americans agree with and a majority voted for.

From Lifezette:

Paul Paetzel, principal of Edina High School, outlined the policy in a letter sent to parents, stating that references to ICE or immigration enforcement that cause fear or humiliation among students would not be tolerated ...

In the letter, Paetzel said ...

'Making light of immigration threats or referencing ICE in ways that cause fear or humiliation is a serious offense and not representative of our core values,' he wrote.

'Behavior of this nature fundamentally violates our commitment to providing a safe and equitable learning environment free from harassment.'

He continued by saying that comments viewed as inconsistent with the district's mission would result in disciplinary action.

Yes, if you so much as say "Good Job" in regards to the actions of our immigration enforcement agents who put their lives on the line daily to keep America safe, you could face "disciplinary actions" at Edina High.

I mean ... how does it make students feel "unsafe" to merely talk about ICE? Unless those students or their families are illegally in the country, in which case...

It seems like a pretty cut and dry First Amendment violation.

Edina schools have nuked their accounts after being featured by LoTT.

It looks like they are aware of the scandal caused by their lefty principal.
