Democrats just successfully convicted their primary political opponent and, if all goes according to plan, will toss him into jail just days before the GOP convention.
We talked earlier this week about the Constitution being dead (RIP) and the realities of politics in 2024. We are, unfortunately, no longer governed by our founding documents.
Yesterday, we saw the rule of law tossed out the window.
In this piece, I'm going to do something that conservatives hate: I'm going to tell the truth and I'm going to deal with reality as it is.
Not principles, not ideals, not "muh Constitution."
The Left hates you. This is only the latest, most brazen step they've taken in defiance of the rule of law to get the results they want.
The reality is, this is par for the course for the Democrats. It's no different than Joe Biden bragging about defying the Supreme Court to push student loan "cancelation" to buy votes in November.
Democrats have not played by the rules for, well, in reality, about a century. Wilson, FDR, LBJ - they all broke the rules and bent the law. Obama oversaw the "fundamental transformation" of our country with racial and sexual politics being the new dividing line.
But yesterday, we entered the culmination of decades of Democrat line-crossing.
We had the chance to get out ahead of this. But we were too pious. We didn't want to divide the country.
If we had set that dangerous precedent, charging Hillary with her real crimes, the Democrats might have prosecuted Republicans on trumped-up charges! Can you imagine something like that happening?
Republicans have never stopped the Democrat abuses in the past, but if we want a country in the future, now is the time to respond.
This isn't the first offense, this is the last straw.
So, the question is, what now?

If you want an America for your children and grandchildren, leaders are going to have to step up.
The only way out is through. Do you love America? Do you love the Constitution? Then you have to be willing to fight fire with fire.
They throw Trump in jail? We throw Biden in jail.
Are there any prominent Democrats who live or do business in red states? They need to be charged and prosecuted by Republican AGs yesterday.
"BUT MUH PRINCIPLES!" I hear you cry.
I'm sorry to hurt your sensibilities, but if we continue to send strongly worded letters, yell about the rule of law and Constitution, but do NOTHING to stop this madness then it will continue.
Today it's Trump, tomorrow it's the Supreme Court Justices (Alito and Thomas to start with), the next day it's any Republican who isn't bought and paid for (if any of them exist in Congress), then it's your crazy MAGA uncle, then it's you.
There are already hundreds of J6ers who are in jail for "parading."
We have an FBI that believes going to the Latin Mass is "domestic extremism" and that shopping at Cabela's or Bass Pro Shop should be flagged as suspicious.
The only way through this crazy moment in history is "Mutually Assured Destruction."
We have to throw Democrats in jail until they agree to stop. That's the long and short of it.
It's important to note that when we ask what comes next, that we have to play by different rules. Those who serve God must act differently than those who serve themselves and/or the devil (compare the George Floyd riots to the J6 protest).
But Republicans who DO have power must USE that power.
And we need more Republicans unafraid to do what it takes.
Leftists and Democrat leaders HATE you. They hate white Americans, Christian Americans - heck, they just plain hate Americans. They'll do whatever they can to ruin your life. If they get away with what they're doing to Trump, you're next.
No one wants to get their hands dirty. No one on our side wants to throw their opponents in jail. Trump wouldn't dare stoop that low, even after the 2016 "Lock Her Up" campaign, because he knew how divisive it would be.
But now it's too late. The country IS divided. And the only way to return to normalcy is to accept the new rules, play by the new rules, and win with the new rules.
The good news? If you win with the new rules, you can return to the old rules.
But you HAVE to win.
Republicans have been beaten up and lost battle after battle for decades on end.
Trump is right, the real verdict will be on November 5th.
The only way out is through.
