Judge Deborah Boardman sentenced the man, who now says he's a woman, who tried to kill Brett Kavanaugh to a mere 8 years in prison, despite this being significantly lower than the suggested 30 year sentence from the Department of Justice.

Judge Deborah Boardman said during the sentencing hearing that while Roske's actions were 'reprehensible,' the judge also considered a string of mitigating factors, including that Roske 'spontaneously confessed to and cooperated with police.'
That wasn't the only mitigating factor considered by Judge Boardman, however.
Yes, the judge thinks it's "reprehensible" that Nicholas Roske, who thinks he's a "Sophie," tried to kill a sitting member of the Supreme Court of the United States of America ... but that there's a silver-lining in that Roske's family has accepted their "daughter's" transgenderism.
This is a real quote from the judge:
I am heartened that this terrible infraction has helped the Roske family… accept their daughter for who she is.

Besides, it would be tough for the man who tried to murder a Supreme Court Justice in cold blood to get cross-sex hormone therapy in jail.

But the media using this to push the trans insanity is a step BEYOND parody:
Fortunately, with the Trump DoJ led by Pam Bondi, this 8-year sentence from a woke judge sympathetic to the trans agenda may not be the end of the story.
Bondi is appealing the "woefully insufficient sentence."
