Yesterday we told you about ex-DOGE staffer "Big Balls" Ed Coristine, who fought 8 men who tried to jump a woman and steal her car.
At least half of America is now wishing him a speedy recovery.
In response to this attack (and the general level of violence and thuggery in DC), President Trump says he wants to bring in the National Guard.
We're going to beautify this city, we're going to make it beautiful. And ... what a shame. The rate of crime, the rate of muggings, killings, and everything else. We're not gonna let it - and that includes bringing in the National Guard, maybe very quickly too...
We have to run DC. This has to be the best run place in the country, not the worst run place in the country, and it has so much potential ... you're going to be safe walking down streets, you're not going to get mugged.

Trump also spoke about Ed Coristine, aka 'Big Balls,' a government staffer who was beaten up while trying to protect a woman during an attempted carjacking in D.C. Police say they have arrested two juveniles in connection with the assault.
'You know, we just almost lost a young man. Beautiful, handsome guy who got the hell knocked out of him the night before last,' Trump said.
The president noted that he planned to speak with Coristine on the phone as the 19-year-old recovers from the violent incident.
'He went through a bad situation, to put it mildly. And there's too much of it,' Trump said.
Not sure even the U.S. National Guard can clean up DC!
